How it works

How a verdict is made

No guessing and no asking prices. Every verdict is built from what items like yours actually sold for.

1. You send photos

Up to five clear photos and the story behind the item. The maker's mark matters most.

2. We identify it

Maker, model, age, materials and the details that separate a common piece from a rare one.

3. We pull the receipts

We find recent sold prices for matching items and show them on screen.

4. The verdict

A realistic value range, revealed on our Shorts. Featured items also get a page here you can share.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Submitting an item and getting featured costs nothing.

Is this an appraisal?

No. A verdict is an estimate based on real, recent sold prices. It is not a formal appraisal for insurance, tax or legal use.

Do you buy or sell items?

No. We never buy, sell or handle your item. We only look at your photos.

What is the $100 rule?

We only feature items we believe are worth $100 or more. Most common pieces are worth very little, so we hunt the rare versions that clear $100.

What if my item turns out to be fake?

Known fakes, replicas and reproductions are not featured. If we find an item is not genuine, we will tell you privately.

Will every submission be featured?

No. We pick the items with the best stories and verdicts. Clear photos of the maker's mark give you the best chance.
